Markita's Book Bites: Quarantine Reads
With the quarantine happening, I have more than enough time to dedicate to personal reading time. Recently I picked up the Rural Diaries: Love, Livestock, and Big Life Lessons Down on Mischief Farm by Hilarie Burton Morgan . The title alone let me know this was going to be a fun read and it didn’t let me down. I know of Hilarie through her time on One Tree Hill from the WB, as well as her well known relationship with The Walking Dead actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan. In her book she gives the reader all the details about their relationship and their life on their farm with their two kids. She illustrates that their lives are not Hollywood perfect, but normal on a farm they have come to know and love. I have also taken up cooking, well at least trying to cook.
